    Step-by-Step Instructions

    AdBlue® is easy to use, but proper handling ensures optimal performance and protects your vehicle’s Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system. Follow these simple steps:

    Step 1: Locate the AdBlue Filler Cap

    For passenger cars, the AdBlue filler is usually:

    • next to the diesel fuel cap
    • in the boot/trunk area
    • Under the bonnet (check your owner’s manual)

    Vans or commercial vehicles, it’s often located near the fuel tank or chassis.

    Step 2: Choose the Right AdBlue Container

    • Use a sealed, ISO 22241-certified AdBlue container.
    • no-spill spout or funnel for easy pouring (many come with integrated adapters).

    Step 3: Fill the AdBlue Tank

    • Turn off the engine.
    • Open the AdBlue cap (usually blue).
    • Carefully pour AdBlue into the filler neck until full or until the warning light is cleared. Do not overfill.
    • Wipe any spills immediately with water.
    • Securely close the cap.

    Important Reminders:

    • Never mix AdBlue with diesel or any other fluids.
    • Keep AdBlue containers sealed and away from direct sunlight or freezing temperatures.
    • Refill promptly when the dashboard AdBlue warning light appears – running out can prevent the engine from starting.
