The Company
Based in Scotland’s central belt, Proficio Limited is a privately owned independent chemical manufacturing and contract cleaning company. The company was formed in 1998 by fellow directors Bill McNaught and Mark Semple BSc with the sole purpose of servicing the transport industry.
Until recently the company was known as Vehiclean Technology Ltd, but due to growth and diversification of the business the decision was made to re-brand the business to a more all-encompassing name and as Proficio is of Latin origin meaning ‘to make advancement, progress’, it was considered very apt for the company.
Health and Safety
Proficio Limited strives to maintain the highest level of Health & Safety standards for both staff and clients alike.
All products manufactured give rise to the lowest health hazards where possible as are those which we purchase from external sources.
All staff are fully trained in-house and are compliant with safe working practices. Every member of staff has been trained in the use of all products employed in any cleaning task.
For every job we undertake we compile full Risk Assessments and Method Statements to ensure all Health and Safety issues are covered. Internal auditing also takes place regularly in all our sites
Environmental Policy
The environment is at the forefront of our company’s outlook and as such is reviewed on a regular basis to attempt to minimise any impact caused by chemical use/disposal and any cleaning activities.
Our environmental policy is strictly adhered to by all members of staff from directors to cleaning operatives. A copy of our Environmental Policy is available on request.
